It's out now! I have a copy in my hot little hands and it's terrific! The casting is brilliant. Everyone looks exactly as I imagined them to be. Corp. Nobb is a riot!, and I love the interactions between Death and Albert. One thing I really like is they didn't play it over-the-top or cartoonish at all. It's in two parts, so they were able to dedicate time to the story without cutting much out.
There's also an interview by Pratchett who readily endorses the film...said he felt like a kid playing with a train set. It's not a big budget production, but as Pratchett said himself, a bigger budget wouldn't have made it any better than it already is...just bigger.
