Hi! I have just discovered this tribe (oh joy ) , I have just aquired a copy (signed ) of this book and was so impressed to see my favorite charictors in the flesh as it were that I have requested (and recived ) permission to use the art work for a basis for tattoo's , this is still in the planning stage and will need a great deal of thought (and work ) before the ink hits the skin !
I have been an avid reader of the disc world books for many years and see this a fitting tribute .

Two months ago, when I had to have my cat Pippin put to sleep, I decided to honour his memory with an obvious adaptation of the pic of Death petting a kitten (from The Last Hero]) on my upper arm. I tried to contact the Kidbys through the website, and never received a reply.
Needless to say, this is not going to stop me... -

I got in touch with his agent ,who kindly got the permission for me . that particular picture is one of my favorites too , I was considering the deathe of rats with a kitten playing with his tail as an ankle tattoo . I have just had "the 5th elephant "added from the cover of the book very apt as I have 5 kids & my 5th granchild had just arrived as I had the work started & he is a bit of a bruiser (20lbs @4 1/2 months ) -
